What are Eco Friendly Cleaning Products?
Toxic chemicals from cleaning sprays that touch your skin together with the fumes that you breath in all get absorbed and processed by your body. Adding strain onto organs such as your liver. Many of the cleaning products found in your local supermarket isle are much of the time designed with mass production and profitability in mind more so than efficacy, your health and the health of our environment.
Carcinogens, hormone disruptors, chemicals can be triggers for conditions such as asthma, allergies and migraines and are commonly found in your traditional bathroom and kitchen spray, toilet bowl cleaner or even in your hand wash. A lot of this stuff too simply just goes down our drains adding to the cocktail of poisons dumped into our water supply.
We have spent a substantial amount of time testing a battery of different eco friendly cleaning products and finally settled on the ones that we now use for our cleaning services. Most of them are sourced here from Australia and are plant based, biodegradable and are formulated without harmful chemicals. Our cleaning tools too such as our cloths, mops and scrubbing tools are sourced from Norwex which is an eco friendly cleaning brand from Norway.
Since I was a child I have been prone to auto immune disorders such as Asthma and Eczema. Much of the cleaning products that I have used in the past obtained from the supermarket or hardware store used to always make me cough and wheeze and would make me itchy and disrupt the health of my skin. As a result I’m really passionate about this products. They really make a difference. As a cleaning service we would use nothing else. Not just for the promotion of a safer home for our clients free of toxic chemicals, or for a healthier environment but for the promotion of a safe work place for us to work in too, as we have to use these products nearly every day.
Many of the cleaning products and tools that we use will be available soon for purchase on our site. If you were looking for more information about them please feel free to ask your cleaner or support worker, or even give us a call or send us an email if you want too.
